ILN-FR

ILN-FR stands for Instant Liquidity Note, Fixed Rate

It is a fixed-term stablecoin liquidity product designed by the BuffX.ioarrow-up-right team and deployed on Ledgity.

It is structured as a 30-day vault, with each monthly cycle operating under contract-defined terms, including a fixed return rate for that specific period. The product is designed to support real-world transactional activity while offering a predictable, short-duration allocation framework for liquidity providers.

Solving a real world problem

International payment corridors involving certain currencies remain constrained by settlement delays, pre-funding requirements, and limited access to immediately available liquidity.

These constraints are operational rather than theoretical. They affect how quickly transactions can be completed and how efficiently capital can move across borders.

ILN-FR is designed to address this issue by maintaining USD fiat liquidity in a pre-positioned state, allowing partners to execute transfers without waiting for traditional settlement processes.

Roles and Interfaces

ILN-FR operates through clearly defined roles, each with a limited and explicit scope.

BuffX provides the technical infrastructure and interface through which ILN-FR operates. This includes access to the vault, visibility into cycles and balances, and automated execution of the product’s predefined rules.

BuffX acts solely as a technical coordination layer. It does not hold, safeguard, or manage funds, and it does not intervene in the operational or financial use of liquidity.

ILN-FR liquidity is deployed through contractual arrangements with the operational counterparty supporting real-world payment activity. These arrangements, including economic terms and obligations, are specific to ILN-FR and do not apply to other BuffX products.

Participation in ILN-FR creates rights and obligations at the product level only, under ILN-FR–specific terms.

Initial use case

The first ILN-FR vault focuses on USD to Franc CFA corridors.

Liquidity allocated to ILN-FR is used to support international transfers in these corridors by ensuring USD liquidity is immediately available when needed. This improves settlement speed for end users while keeping liquidity deployment structured and transparent.

ILN-FR provides pre-positioned USD fiat liquidity to support international payment flows, with fixed, contract-defined terms for each 30-day cycle.

How ILN-FR fits within BuffX

While BuffX provides the infrastructure, design, and operational framework, each product operates independently and should be evaluated on its own documentation. Future BuffX products may differ in structure, duration, liquidity behavior, or deployment platform.

comment-exclamation For ILN-FR, the BuffX interface reflects the live, cycle-specific operating terms, while this documentation provides structural and explanatory context.
